What synth to use for classic Dr dre keyboard lead lines.

I want to know what synth's were used on the early hip hop stuff. For the lead lines.

I was thinking of the early 90's records.

Is there a hip hop synth?

I have my suspicions. I think for some of those bass sounds that may have been some kind of bass synthesizer. Like a mutron filter.

As i said before i am not really into hip hop. I just like 1 or 2 records from the genre.


However crap like Neptunes and black eyed runner beans put me off really.

Anyway much better then that hip hop rubbish is good old 80's bands.

HAHAHHAHA one of my boys was internin at a studio and sittin in on a session with duran duran and the peeps makin the beats and sh!t...
