couple of questions

Can I hook up a cd burner and record the sound or hook it up to a pc and record it to like cool edit pro?

I have a disc from a producer of mpc60 sounds could i use them on a 2000xl?

and how would i use the sounds from floppys to load up on the pads?

The MPC is a sampler so yes u can sample into or sample into your PC. Your choice.

Yes you can use the sounds in your mpc if they are 16 bit 44.1khz .wav files or .snd files.

If your MPC doesnt have a floppy drive then u will need to access a PC wit a floppy drive so u can transfer the files to either a zip disk, cf card, ect.. Depends on what drive your XL has.

60 floppies will not work in the pc running windows XP.. (i think)

for more info on how to get this to work, google chicken systems or hit up the 60 forum and get your search on..

EDIT: my bad, you said you have the 60 sounds on a cd.. still, look around the 60 forum so you dont run into any problems with loading the files.
