Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

WHATS UP.......I HAVE A MPC 4000.....I JUST GOT A GIFT....A BRAND NEW MICRO KORG.....I DONT KNOW NOTHIN ABOUT IT.....CAN IT WORK WITH MY MPC....IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER FOR THAT PRICE RANGE.....SHOULD I RETURN IT AND GET SOMTHIN NEW ??......DOES ANYBODY HAVE ONE......LET ME KNOW....THANX I APPRECIATE IT

great little piece of gear for creating your own sounds thats what its basically for, anything with a midi in/out can work with your mpc

To use the combo fully, I'd either multitrack out the sounds I come up with over the drum patterns of the mpc, then your open to add on another sound from the microkorg, you also could sample the microkorg into your mpc

alot of possibilities I want one of those microkorgs I just havent copped it yet, but if your generally not interested in a compact analog modeling synthesizer, you may do better taking it back and saving the money up for something bigger, but I don't like returning peoples presents so....

that microkorg has alot of knowledge to teach you though about synthesis if you take time with it though
