.pgm converter

there's any way to convert a .pgm made by 1k or 2,5k into an other format (battery for example) or at least into old .pgm (2k and 3k)

yo sorry i never responded to your PM - i was really busy and it slipped my mind.

anyway - to answer your question, i do not currently know of something that deals with mpc1000 pgms. unfortunately. i'd love such a program.

yeah it would be a fantastic thing... i know as all here that mpc sounds could be a littler better... but versatility is perfect... small, compact and with jj os amazing

however doing beats there and then transfer midi and .pgm to computer sequencing should be the best thing to do great music...

There's a tool that can convert almost all known sample formats and programs.

Supported Akai formats:

.S3P - AKAI MESA II/PC S-series programs
.PGM - AKAI MPC 1000/2000XL/2000/3000 drum set files
.SND - AKAI MPC-60/2000/2000XL/3000 sample files
.AKAI - AKAI S-series floppies & image files
.P - AKAI S900/S950 programs + CD-ROM's
.S - AKAI S900/S950 samples
.P - AKAI S1000/S1100/S01 programs + CD-ROM's
.S - AKAI S1000/S1100/S01 samples
.P - AKAI S3000/S3200/S2000/S2800 programs + CD-ROM's
.S - AKAI S3000/S3200/S2000/S2800 samples
.AKP - AKAI S5000/S6000 programs

P.S. You can also export in N.I Battery format, i've converted many old MPC60 programs to MPC1000 format without problems.

Awave it's like a swiss knive for audio files and sampler programs.

10 years a go, when I just buyed my first Akai sampler, this software was already there, looks like we are getting older.

try...
i try to convert a 1k pgm to battery 1, but when i import it into battery 2 all the volume are different...

do u find a better conversation format?
let me know your work (if u use this of course)

about battery 3 it supports only pgm 2k and 3k from what i know

I just downloaded this ....
and i only see the AKP. option.. or 2000xl pgm. 3000 pgm...

i dont see pgm 1000.

?? help me out.. how does this thing work? it seems like it does a lot.
