If my custom drums are sounding good should i really worry?

Every thing yall saying sounds good but just let ya know im only talking about my kicks or snares or what not being tweak before i use them in the mpc not in a reg mix. i know how to rocka compressor and eq with it comes to mix down i was just talking sound design.
