if your just sampling than its a whole other story. I personally have had so many turntables when i first started out. ( i was djing though ) In the end i traded around and ended up having a few pairs of 1200s in the crib/studio. I wouldnt change for ANY numark, stanton, vestax... none of it. But if your just sampling any of these will do fine. Ide say keep your eyes open for some used in good condition 1200s and if not cop something that will do in the mean time. Besides used 1200s (which are everywhere) are not even that expensive.

torque this and torque that ... 1200s is whats up.

whats up Koncept?

vestax pdx... thats what's going down. If it's only for sampling purposes... go for stanton's or numark (you'll pay less). If you wanna get into the whole mixing deal... tecs 1200 mk2 no doubt.
