Does anyone know a store that sells the 256mb ram that successfully worked or has anyone found a 128mb chipped that worked? I also have another problem when syncing my equipment. I currently own a Korg Triton, MPC1000 and my computer (Nuendo, Acid, etc) Every time I sync the 3 instruments (via midi clock and the computer being the master) the triton and the MPC1000 tend to sync off-beat after a couple of bars. Is there an (inexpensive) module that could correct or improve the midi clock sync not syncing? Is there another method of syncing these instruments?
I have a triton and an MPC 1000 also and I'm not having any problems getting them to sync. I use Sonar and I can sync either with the MPC or Sonar as the Master and they seem to stay on sync. How do you have them connected? What are you using as your Midi Interface? Have you tried to sync them using the MPC as the master? If so, were you still having the same problems? As far as the memory, there are several previous Post regarding this. I was able to purchase a 256 MB chip that reads 128mb on the MPC. Below is the text from my post.
I've noticed that the price has gone up to $57.99, but it's still cheaper than Akai.
Today I purchased a 256MB stick of memory from MicroCenter in Atlanta and the memory works fine in the MPC 1000. The memory was $54. You can also order it from their website. I took pictures of the actual memory in the MPC and of my screen but I do not know how to attach pictures to the post. I also loaded up over 100mb of samples and it worked flawlessly.
