Yeah aint many of us akai OS folks left, mostly newbies still on this side of the fence, no offense. Seems like anyone who has been on this forum for any significant period of time has given up waiting on Akai's b***h a** and is now twist'n tight ones wit the JJ OS. I suppose i'm lagging behind, its inevitable though, soon i too will CROSS OVER.

With the exception of the redesigned Chop Shop feature, there is no other function JJ added that I really need.

Had the 2500 for 2 weeks and after 2 obvious and show stopping bugs in the Akai 1.22, I switched to JJ OS. I would like the Akai OS to be good, but it isn't.

Cheers,
B

Let's guess...you had a create folder bug, and MTC sync problem....

So this can be blamed on Akai OS??

Almost right Jahrome. Of course the file corruption bug, which showed itself both by freezing when creating a new folder and PC read errors in copying work via usb. The second bug is that muting midi tracks doesn't mute the note ons at all, it shortens the duration instead (when "mute/stop of one shot sample" is set to immediate). Mute which doesn't at all...

I know you are prepared to be happy with those, Jahrome, but I am not.

Blade_2000, these problems are all fixable with software updates. JJ OS fixed my issues, Akai OS could do the same.

Cheers,
B
