can anyone tell me how to make my sceen look all cool

i see other mpc 1000 who have the cool looking screens how do i do that. by any chance is that the splash screen option

what do you mean by 'cool'?
the splash screen only lasts couple secs and is nifty, but quite useless feature
if you talk about the major screen view rehaul, this is implemented with the advanced OS (versions 4.4 or so and upwards).

create the appropriate bitmap file, and copy it to the CF or hard drive. It will briefly appear when you boot the MPC. search the forum to get the bitmap specs.
