Problems with Compact Flash 2gb

YES you can use a 2Gig cf card on the MPC and YES you can format it to use the whole 2 gig but NO you can NOT do it with os 1.20 you need os 1.14 for that, and you need to format the card on the MPC. This card will not be readable by a PC. Get a smaller card (256 or 512 Mb) that you format FAT 16 on your pc to transfer samples between your MPC and your pc.

Elfer_, I'm not sure how our situations differ, but when I formatted my card on the MPC, it was fine. Not a problem at all.

FYI: I did some testing to be sure it was ALL good.... Everything was 100% compatible/interchangeable between the MPC and my PC.

Is this true?...I have a XL with a Card Reader, but I have OS V. 1.14, so if I upgrade to OS v. 1.20 I'll be able to use 2GB CF Cards?
