I saw this on FP and that dude saw it from another site he said, but it makes good sense to me. Maybe to some guys/girls here as well.
No, it's not goin' out and buying tha most expensive MPC u can get ur hands on. . . It's not, goin' tha cheap way and buyin FL Studios 13 (exaggerating). . . You don't have to go even cheaper and download FL Studios. . . You don't HAVE to go out and buy an ASR-10 off of eBay to make tha sickest trax u can conjure up either. . . You don't NEED a MIDI board. . .
Tha secret to making tha absolute best trax u can possibly make is. . . being comfortable with tha equipment/software/hardware u have. . .
You can put a producer behind a MIDI board, an MPC 2000, Pro Tools, and a Mac and he will curl up and suck his thumb at tha far corner of tha studio. . .
Now, take that SAME producer and sit him in front of FL Studios and a Dell PC, and in 15 mins he will make u piss ur pants. . .
Alot of upcoming producers get caught up in tha hype thinkin' that they HAVE to have "this" or they NEED "that" in order to bang out properly. . . That is not tha case. . .
Who gives a crap what tha next producer has? It's "who bangs harder." Not "who bangs with tha most commercialized equipment."
