Newbie

Wazup everyone? So somehow my mpc 1000 came with a 128mb flash card instead of a 32mb,so i aint complaining.

Anyways, I load up folders of samples to the cf,then when i hit MODE and load it,nothing happens??? the sounds dont get loaded onto the pads or anything.Someone PLEASEEEEEEE help me.I was gonna call AKAI product support but i get out of work to late and they are closed by then.I would really appreciate some help guys.

are they WAV files? Did you format your card yet?

naw i havent formated the card yet,but yea they are wav file.....u think formatting will help?

if it will show you the files on the mpc when you go to load then it does not need to be formatted.

you need to load some programs (.pgm) just loading a bunch of .wavs will not assign them to pads.

load the folder then go to mode+program
hit a pad
move the cursor to 1. and use the scroll wheel to pick a sample

this is how you assign sounds to pads

you will need to name and save this as a program to your CF card later.

you have to create a program dont know if you did that
