Auditioning different sounds on the same note/pad.

After I've recorded a sequence in the 2000xl, is it possible to audition different samples for a particular note?

Imagine I just recorded a drum pattern but I'm not feeling the current hi hats. Is there any way that I can audition different hi hat sounds while the pattern is playing?

why not just assign a different sample to the pad the hats are on? you can always just change back if you dont like any other sound....

The easiest way to audition another sound while the sequence is playing is go

Shift -> Program -> Choose your program -> Tap the pad with the sound you want to change -> and then use the data wheel to scroll through your other sounds!

You can do this all while the sequence is playing.

This is definitely the easiest way to do it...
