Sampling From Protools?

IM trying to get a bunch of sounds into my MP from my computer. My setup is an mpc 2000xl, an mbox 2 pro. i saw that there are outputs, so i put the outputs into the record ins in my MPC but couldnt get a level in the mp. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

you could record the outputs from the mbox but id just chop up the samples in pt and then copy them to a zip or cf card and load em up....

Make sure you assign the tracks your playing back in pro tools to the outs that you are running into the mpc.

thanks man, yeah i got it working, but its a pain in the ass. whats the cf card, how does that shit work?

CF= Compact Flash
It's another way to save material, no moving parts (Like Floppy or ZIP) so alot more stable.
If you have an internal zip already, it should be no problem switching over to a CF card reader.
