Actually....that is the proper procedure, at least up to 1.22.

they might not have changed it so it works like before, but in the new update procedure txt they only mention the cf card way.

so far i found no new bugs, but it is still not possible to stop long samples immediate and use midi mutes at the same time. external midi devices still only mute correctly when oneshot samples are set to through in the other page.

i´m a bit dissapointed that there are no real new features - and who needs 128 programs when there is still only 100.000 notes seq? why didn´t they upgrade to proper stereo chopshop or add better sample browsing and a clear statement about folder structures to prevent data loss?

obviously this isn't the last OS that they're gonna put out. i'm sure they'll address these issues (and more) with each and every new update they release.

How long do they expect us to wait though? It's funny that JJ is an individual and I am sure that Akai has at least a dozen programmers to get the OS right. They keep danglin' the carrot in front of us and give us just enough to keep us quiet. Dont you think someone at Akai has gotten the JJ OS and can duplicate it? This is bullsh!t. I'm not bitchin though cuz 1.22 is still working just fine for me. But as soon as you guys post your findings with 1.23, I'll decide whether or not to update.

well I'm still having my midi muting of modules and keyboards problem I even emailed them about it and they act like it's a non issue and I made it up but I see I'm not the only one with the problem.

Then they didn't fix it.

I can confirm that they did not fix it. I installed 1.23, turned off and on and cleared settings, formatted the disk and loaded 8Gb of samples. Did all the right things. Then I loaded and rewrote 5 projects back (overwriting themselves which shouldn't change anything) and I could not copy every file off to PC - unknown folder or file error.

So 8 hours later back to JJ OS and no such problem.

Cheers,
B

Many people act like the save bug is such a big issue. I mean, what's so hard about creating a new folder and not overwriting each time you save.
