MPC 60 and s6000 combination

I am just getting my feet into the music production scene and would like to know if the above combination is good or should I go for the more mordern MPCs. I already own the s6000 and want to get an mpc.
I did some research, although the mpc 60 is old it has good sound quality.
My question would I be better off getting a mpc 2000(XL) as opposed to the mpc 60 to work with my s6000 sampler.
I just saw an mpc 60 for cheap that's why I need your suggestions.

If you get a 60 I would upgrade the os to 3.10, much better.

I think the combo sounds good, the quick layout of the 60 will make it a better match than the 2000 or 4000. the s6000 kills those in sampling, and the 60 beats them in the logical layout of extensive sequencing.

thanks a lot for the reply elmacaco, the mpc 60 has os 2.0 and I was just wondering how much would it cost me to upgrade to 3.10. Is it cheaper to just buy a machine with the upgrade already on it or should I just go for it??
