if i have a track im working on with more than one program and save all programs and sounds. when i load that disk and turn on the mpc it automatically loads that tracks programs and sounds. i have a lot on that disk if i want to work on something else i have to delete/rework all the sounds pads there assigned to and parameter setting which is a pain in the ass. the problem is i only have 1g disk right now so i cant save all program and sounds i have to remember which program was loaded as program 1 -4, IS THERE ANY WAY TO SAVE ALL PROGRAM & SOUNDS ON DISK WITH OUT IT AUTOMATICALLY LOADING THE ALL PROGRAM.

i know what i need is a few 1g disks to store stuff and a whole bunch of either 32/64/128mb disks for individual tracks im working on. but im saving real tight for a synth. i know the smaller mb are not that expensive but they are hard to get you have to order them online then those sizes are often sold out. the computer stores heve dont carry the smaller mb sizes there obsolete.

SHIFT+LOAD (or SAVE)+F4 (thats SETUP) ----> Auto loading file type: OFF

2kxl, save wach project in a seperate folder. ALL & APS is all you need to save. 2kxl cannot load across folders.

2k, save each project in seperate partitions/disks.

PGM is optional if you want to later only load/add a single program (for 2kxl).
