save my stuff from the mpc directly to a usb flash drive? is there such a connection that will allow me to do that?

Not that I am aware of, but there might be. One way would be to save your info to your CF card, then connect your MPC and computer, then transfer all the info from your MPC's CF card to your thumb drive via your computer.

Or you can buy a hard drive for your MPC and make your life a lot easier.

i have a hard drive, 80gig
but the things is my computer died a while back
so i put all my beats onto the cf card and bring em down to the skool, and it sucks cus they only have 2 card readers and they are always being used.
i mean i aint strugglin, im just trinna make shit a step easier.
or i could just go to my homie place and transfer there but aint nothin like home sweet home
