pre-amps in technics?

Do the Technic turntables have built in pre-amps? If not, what is something similar that does?

vestax handy trax and numark pt01 have built in mixers/phono pre's....but the quality is not up to par with a technics table, then again they are ment for on the go any how....

but if you already have technics or are getting some just get a DJ mixer and be done....if your only samping any cheap mixer or phono pre will do the job, but if you want to scratch as well I would recommend looking into higher end battle mixers etc.

Hmm…as far as being built like a technics turntable, you’re right the Numark PT01 is not made as well…however the sound output is fine and I use my pt01 when I am at my girls house and there is literally no difference in my work from one place to the next.

At work I have my connection coming into my 2500 via Rane 56…in my home I alternate between the rane 56, this http://topdjgear.com/pylppphonpre.html for the single table in my room, and my pt01 depending if I want to work on the kitchen counter.

I took my PT01 mpc 1000 and headphones to jury duty on Monday and made a few people question what was going on since I had to waste half a day sitting around. Ha.
