Stonesthrow vs. TheMindControl

Both Dope beats. Stones flipped the sample in a way i think most of us wouldve flipped it, harnessing the SOUL element. Mind, in my opinion went the road less traveled by, and gave dope input.

Stoney got my vote, although i found the repetitive sample (ooh ahh) slightly annoying after a while.

i might have to do one of these beat battles, its been a while since i knocked michanderson down to earth!

Mindcontrol.. i think stones beat is just too basic and played out.. i've been over and over this boombap thing.. getting bored!

Aight its all done. It was a good battle. I had alot of fun making that beat and in sure stonesthrow did aswell.

I know the polls are basically over- but whatever- Mindcontrol gets my vote. Much more creative use of the sample...Stones is good but gets monotonous.

At first listen, My vote was for Stones but after a second listen to both beats, I felt that Mind came out with something so outta left field without taking it too far, basically keepin the dope factor so I had to give it to him....

Both beats are bangin but I got to go with mindcontrols beat. It was more rugged and damaged, my kind of flavour.
