MIDI FRUSTRATION

Ok so instead of coming here right away and making a post, i looked through all the posts about midi synching and all that and I'm still having a very hard time trying to figure out this ****. I've looked through the manual of the mpc 2000 and I've looked in the help section of Acid Pro 4 and I'm just about ready to throw my **** out the window, I've been going at this for about 3 hours now and my brain is fried. I'm using a Midi Usb interface to connect my mpc to the computer. All I wanna do is record my song from the mpc onto acid pro so i can make further editing on there. Can someone please help me and give some step by step instructions or something...anything...

Midi is not audio. If you want to record your song then connect the audio outputs of your mpc to the audio input of your computer.

i guess you mean you wanna track your stuff out?

you gotta setup both the mpc MIDI options aswell as Acid MIDI options. They both have to be setup.

Yeah thats what i was intending, but i dont know what to set the acid or mpc midi option as. Like midi clock or time code

try both, man. experiment until something works. I had to do the exact same thing first time I tried tracking. matter fact, lol, I have to do that now! Just chose one, try that. if it dont work, try the other. they both have to be setup the same. matter fact, try all 3
