Where is the panic button?

Where is the panic button?

Hey guys didn't there used to be a panic button on the 2xl? You know when midi notes get stuck, the button that stops it. Where is this button on the 1000? I can't get these midi notes to STOP!

Don't know about the Akai OS, but with JJ you can hit the STOP button three or four times really fast. Works over here.

Believe it or not, the stop button thing works on alot of different gear as a midi panic button.

hit the shift and the midi seq pad and it stops i think thats it, ive had that happen before

Do you mean the shift and the midi/sync pad? Already tried that, doesn't work.

is it an external mod/synth/kbd's midi notes that wont stop? This used to happen to me with my Alesis Micron, so i changed the MIDI send /local ctrl's to Off+senPtrns and it kept my MIDI notes from "Skipping"...But when it does happen, possibly from too much MIDI info, or whatever, i double tap the "Program" button on the Micron, also try to hit stop on the MPC like 3 times...If you still havin problems holla back..Peace
