PRO TOOLS (PLUG INS WONt WORK??)

PRO TOOLS (PLUG INS WONt WORK??)

so i got a mbox mini and it came with these plug ins. i installed them but they wont work. when i start up pro tools it gives me an option for "quit" and "authorize", under authorize it needs a passkey and i dont know them. wats going on. i try uninstallin and re installin them but nothing. anybody know wats going on here? thanks.

You must have purchase these items used and didnt recieve youre ilok,
or youre just overlooking it. If you have a little blue usb key, put it in your usb port and start protools. Then hit authorize.

does the key come with the mbox. if so i never saw it.

My mbox came with one. I'd be suprised if the mini doesnt, but if you havent seen it it probably didnt.
You buy it used or new?

Id call the place where you bought it and ask if it was supposed to come with one and go from there. I cant find anything that specifies one way or another. on one hand Id be suprised if it doesnt come with one because those plug ins are included, but on the other hand I wouldnt be suprised because digidesign is exactly that kind of company. I love working with protools but digidesign can F- off!!
