High frequency noise

I am experiencing high frequency noise when connecting my 1000 to mixers, sound cards etc, to dump tracks. this happens in my home studio as well as a commercial studios is well. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Im close to throwing this thing against the wall.

for our last album, i sometimes recorded 30+ tracks directly from my mpc to cubase. i never had any noise (if there isn't any on the samples, of course). i know there was a noise-problem if you didn't unplug the usb-cable. so if you have your mpc constantly connected to a computer, try unplugging the usb...

yeah the usb cable was causing me all kinds of feedback I finally unplugged it and wala. Only use when transfering samples.

usb cable is not plugged in and problem persist.

check 1/4 plugs if they bad, turn input thru off, turn rec gain down???

when I unplug the power cord to the mpc all the noise stops

Problem Solved!

Noise from electricity can build up by going through machines and equipment. Best thing to do is to get a surge protector with a high noise reducer. And besides a surge protector is a must around expensive equipment anyways. Also cables bundled up together in the same direction cause static, let them cross in an X pattern or just loosely hang.

yeah i bought one of those strips and it really helped my my vocal tracking... basically no more line noise.

check the trim on the mixer? too high? i dunno...

could try connecting it through an audio isolation transformer/direct box and see if it makes any difference.
