I realize this is not directly mpc related...but i know theres some knowledgable heads in here that could asisst.. I recently got sonar, as well as a nero burning software. My mixes are sounding great on my monitors, and great as well in mp3 players. Also, when I burn a file as a wave and listen to it on my monitors it sounds good as well.---however, when I burn a wave file to a CD it sounds like complete trash...all kinds of distortion, random noise, and just a strange hollow sound-which is nowhere near the sound that was coming out my monitors. I'm wondering if anyone uses nero as their burning software, and knows if there is a specific setting I need to hit, to avoid this nasty distortion. Thanks. Holla back.

I don't know much about Nero except for some CD's I burn on it won't play in my friend's car.... also the colors of the cdr affect the sound, for mastering purposes you're supposed to use gold or silver, I read that in an article in a magazine like a couple years back.
