yea homie I mean that's kinda f'ed up question if you think bout it...
u play cd's right? do you only want one or 2 in your collection?? same goes for mp3's etc. why would vinyl be any different...
even moreso for vinyl because of having multiple purposes...wether it be sampling, collecting or just str8 listening....granted you can do the same with cd's 2, but bottom line a cd IS NOT vinyl....I think vinyl is a love or hate type of thing...either A. you love it and try to get your hands on as many as possible or B. you dont see a reason how people could even want vinyl since "cds" are out now...."and their just cooler and smaller" lol....
personally I try and get my hands on as much vinyl as possible and my main needs/wants are sampling as well, but my outlook is this...
if I only had 10 records in my collection, and honestly didnt even like anything on em' I would force myself to still find a damn sample somewhere...VERSUS if I had hundreds of records it's great because now I can be picky and search until I find that sick sample that I actually would love to work with without being forced to make a beat out of some weak sh!t....smell me??
my b bout typin the book on u lol, but the vinyl can't speak so I'm here on its behalf hahaha...
