when i try to save or load my mpc say "insert memory card", i tried two differnt cards and it does the same thing. it was just working yesterday. wtf!!!!help please!

Check with a flashlight for bent or damaged pin in the card slot.

pins look fine, i wonder if its a bug or somthin, i havent up graded the os. i have the version 2.0 does anyone have any advice?

Try nudging the card around gently in the slot to see if it's a loose connection.

tried that a few times, still nothing...im starting to get scared 
,i don't know of any other way to save my stuff and ive already lost hours of work cuz of restarting the mp. i'm in desperate need of help. i bought the damn thing new about 4 months ago. wtf!!!!!!!

since you bought it new, you should be covered under warranty for 1 year.

i know ther'es an authorized repair shop listed there from thier site (i forgot the name of the place and i don't know about their reputation). but VST are extremely reputable. you should've called Nick.
btw... did you happen to speak to this cokehead on the phone at akai?

ok i dunno what to do here. it seems when i let my mp warm up for a while the memory drive will work, but it only works if the machine has been on for a while. if i turn it on after not using it for a couple hours its has to warm up again. i never heard of this problem.
