You can't join both.It has that part on the reg. for both that you can only be on one.Good idea though.

i just joined bmi, did it online took bout 15mins, a week later i had my id#.

How do you sign up with BMI? what exactly is it im very interested in this....
if someone can point me in the right direction it would be very helpful.

www.bmi.com. it gets your royalties for you instead of you trying to get them, it maybe more to it but thats all i know and every producer is with either one or both

ok, is it pretty safe to sign up with them? i mean its askin if im releasinga commercial song on the radio or t.v , i mean i put songs up on web sites i.e myspace , soundclik. i was thinking about this all last night, i guess i should sing up. they also ask for you SSN????

i would like to go with bmi or ascap. i am starting a production company and would like to register my company with either bmi or ascap. does anyone have any suggestions on which is better to go with?
