problems saving programs

every time i try to save a program or sequence onto my memory card a message comes up that says file directory full and it wont let me save onto my card even tho the memory card has like a gig left on it.
plz help

Have you tried saving in a new and empty folder?
Also, what card are you using ? SD or CF ?

A couple of peeps on here have reported having problems with SD. See if you have the same problem with CF. I'm using 2 CFs (512MB Kingston, and a 1GB Crucial that has to be partioned into at least 2 partitions) with my 2k classic, externally, and so far no problems. I haven't tried SD yet. Can't find the one that came with a cheap a$$ digital camera I bought a while back, and I don't feel like dropping doe on something that might not work.
