Nice price, slow card. I bought a 100x pqi and it was sooooo slow! If you don't mind the wait, this is a nice card. If you want somethin' fast, try Lexar Pro. I got an 80x one of those and that thing hauls! Really quick for reading and writing.

Hi,

I have a Sandisk Extreme III card which is very fast, but the MPC500 stil takes its time loading and saving.

I don't think the speed of the card makes much difference in the MPC500.

Also USB on the MPC500 seems to be 1.1 which is also quite slow.

Same here. I have tried a few other cf cards like 80x and dont notice a difference. Thats why I went with the PQI 40x. $16.99 for 2 gb! Like I said earlier... I gotta buy another. 8)

I meant more on the transferring data from the computer side. Sorry for the mixup guys, I got a 1k so i didnt kow that the speeds wasnt makin' a difference for you on the MP side of things. That pqi is the one then, cost effective!

Bang out Y'all!
