how do i use the shit.. i read the manual and messed with it... i just wanna know how do i know how it reads the hertz

To be honest bro, I dont even mess with the eq settings on my MPC. I leave them just how they are because Im used to the sound it creates but when I am ready to track my songs I turn it off as well as the compressor. Idont trust either one so I just do all of my eqing and stuff in my mixer

the mpc's eq reads both HZ and KHZ....Peep this in the low freq setting, no matter what amount(100,125,80,32,etc...) is all HZ.. Mid1 and Mid2 is both HZ and KHZ---250-999 is HZ 1000- up is KHZ. High is all KHZ... Just a lil tip in Mid1,2, if u want the freq set to 2.2khz the freq amount should read 2200..... 1.5khz=1500, etc..... The MPCs pad fx EQ and master FX EQ are decent....especially if its all u got, or if ur mixer is only 2ban, u can use the MPC's eq to adjust your mids....
