save a sample

Hey! People! how should I save a song in MPC if I want to get the track out ..

I heard that ther is something about- save a song as a sample-,but I can't understand how to do that..

please .. needa help..

Arrange the seq's of your beat in song mode, then convert the song to a seq. Then go back to the main screen and select your song seq. Go to the record screen and change your input setting from ANALOG to MAIN OUTS. Press RECORD and then press the play button. After the song has finisher playing, keep it and go to TRIM mode. Your new beat is there. Then just go to SAVE and save it to your card. You can put it on your computer from there.

can you do the same thing on the 2000XL?? (if you have a card)

Yeah, you just can't use the MP as a card reader cause it has no usb connection, but you can save it on your card and use a seperate card reader.

No, the XL can't re-sample it's outputs.

Really? My boi said he could do that. And he told me that like 2 days ago. Cause I said I didn't think he could, than he checked and said yessir.

hmm, how do you change the input option? it's not giving me any other options besides 'analog'.. I pushed Shift Sample to bring this up

damn.. well, can you do this on the 1000 at least?

If you highlight it and it don't say MAIN OUTS than I guess you can't. I haven't done it on the 2k so I don't know for a fact, but my boi said he could. And I know for sure that the 1k can cause I do it all the time.
