major problem!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so I've had my MP for about a year and a half, had some minor bug issues but nothing major

now,

I cannot get the Pgm to change from the main screen.. my scroll wheel works fine for every other field but it will not change type from drum to midi or change Pgm from the one currently displayed.

on top of this I can no longer use the 16 levels.

I was using it no problem - set something to a slider - and then suddenly noticed it was no longer behaving properly.

I formatted my HD, installed 2.3 OS, reset, formatted again, installed again, formatted again, reset holding erase again...

????

anyone?

ok so I gave up .... come back 5 mins later and boot it up again - now everything is all systems go???


now I play around for a minute and its acting up again - same deal, can't change type or PGM nor can I use 16 levels..

wtF?


ok now its back to acting normal... is there something I might be doing to cause this?

Dog I'm having the exact same problem.

what usually works with me is i shut of the mp
unplug it for about 1 min
plug it into another power surge input (in my case since i have one)
then restart it and then maybe ill load another project i was working on and it usually fixes the prob
or dont load another proj
just see if it works now

weird. i'm on jj os 5.26 and had the same bug. is it just changing the program on the MAIN SCREEN? the bug on mine only pops up every couple of days. i can still change the program from within the program window. i haven't really found solutions. it just starts working again on its own without a shut down.

Is it in a hot enviroment?

not too hot. i'm in sweden right now.

i meant is it sitting next to a radiator not what the weathers doing!

Yo Lampdog what exactly does reseating your ram mean? My mp is less than a year old could the ram be bad already?

cosic rays are the worst offender when it comes to RAM, that and fat fingers.
