Does the JJ OS have direct record (where you change the track type to "d.rec.") like the mpc2500 has?

no version has it like the 2500 has.
each track canNOT be turned into D.REC.
i asked jj for that the whole time
but he did add AUDIO TRACKS. you just have to push shift F4 or scroll to tracks 57-54 to use the function.

I tried it with the 3.06 version.

But I can only make it work on tracks 61 to 64.
However, when I record some audio to these tracks it is not tight. It comes in late or something when I play it back.

Has anyone else noticed this?

YEAP..I POSTED THIS A FEW DAYS AGO...the thread is now under production technics..don´t know why?!

its an issue with the free os - you can work around by deleting gap at the start - a good way to do it is make a noise from your sound source on the 1 as you record in so you can lign it up easy - then just cover it up with silence

you dont have to do this on the paid versions though it works how you would expect it

direct record doesn't use TC ...
