Sample Bit 16/24

Can anyone tell me how to cange a sample from 24 to 16 bit??Apparently this is nescessary when using the 500.

very fast & powerful tool if you need to convert a lot of files..

You might want to look if the conversion program uses "dithering" this technique provides the best quality when converting samples to lower bitrates.

with barbabatch you can use dither or not,
about dithering,
you should check www.gearslutz.com too
which is for me the best technical forum about mastering / mixing tech and gears..

barbabatch sells for 339 euro's, a too bit expensive for my taste!

I have been using Sample Manager v3.0.8 for the last few months and its perfect for batch processing. it cost $90 which is monkeys and worth it when you realise how much hastle it is co convert samples.
