Fixed backlight whine

Yo.

Listen up. I fixed my backlight (from Telesis) using that guide from that Yahoo group. Backlight inverter used to whine and squeal but was lighting up OK.

Anyway it fixed the problem. No more high-pitched whine. Not an easy job though son. Just wanted to let everybody know.

Mine has been doing this forever. I really should get it fixed.

I get this on my 3000 is it the 60 your talking about????

pretty much the same thing on the 3k. replace the inverter. if i remember correctly, it was less than thirty bucks for the part.

yo karlscott... mine is a 3k. sorry, should have said that sh*t up front. 3k. used to whine and whistle.

now just sits there with new Mansell Labs 3.50 OS begging me to smash some beats out.

Where can you get a replacement inverter for the MPC3000???

VST Service has the part i got mine from them for around $30
