MPC goes to AKAI for repair one Button, with JJ or AKAI OS!?

Hy,

my MP goes to any AKAI Servicecenter in Germany because Bank Button B was broken, should i Install the original AKAI OS before?!

If it's a warranty job...yes you should put the Akai OS back on....if not...leave the JJ OS on.

yeap it´s a warranty job! maybe the dudes at Akai play with the jj os and i get another mp back..lol..

i came also from germany. i played back the akai os before i send it to repair.

aw man why send it back when it could be fixed yourself in less than 10 minutes? tact switch, cheaply available on ebay

is still under warranty, if i do it by my self i lost the warranty for the next 1,5 years....not a cool option to wait 5 days for the button an make it by my self...i have a mail in option for free...wait 10-15 days and get it back...all for free...

They will still know since the JJ serial number remains regardless of which OS you use.
Just depends on if they have been instructed to look for it or just go by what is currently running.

is there a term by wakai that don´t allow me to use any software?
the german law don´t allow terms like this...

mee too...i think jj use any hardware id like processor id and generate the code from there...
