24 bit sampels

ive got a lot of 24 bits samples, how can i convert them to 16 bits ?? is there any program who can convert all folders??

I'd suggest Awave. Also, you could batch edit the samples. Use the sample editor of your choice, select all samples you want to convert and perform a batch conversion, which means: tell the program what to do with the samples and then it processes them all at once. But your Audio editor has to have to support batch conversion of course!

there are many that support it.

awave just so happens to hook up pgms for the 1k,2k,2kxl,3k (25k?) as well.

Or if you really want to make 'em gritty ....don't convert - re record them from an analog out at 16 bits...you can also add some tube warmth or EQ or whater that way.....
