spoken word audio books,
out takes from anthology style albums
solos
old cartoons and kids shows
classic cds
radio
television
library music
sound fx cds...
my recent best find was a bass test tone cd which had loads of lush subs and nothing else.....

none of them groundbreaking but you can find some weird weird stuff

Banging stuff usually does it for me. Fork vs knife vs table vs glass...

thats whats up yo! ha ha ha

Man ive literally farted into the mic and made a dope bassline out of it. Ive sampled my nephews baby talk, and freaked it. I throw stuff against the wall and sample it. I sample like static and distortion. whatevers clever. Ive sample a bonghit, and put it right before one of my songs (gonna be on the album). Ive sampled alot of christmas music too. good bellz and chimes, hehe

yo the on time I got a bong hit bubblin and cut that b**** into almost 32 notes. Dope percussion. Once I got me tappin on the glass of it and that was a bell noise in a beat. I want to more of that, but I want a better mic. **** even a SM57 will do, I just am get sick of the ol raido shack joint. That rumbling in the lows and the ground loop or whatever is staright booty.

I really did that! but that mic is long gone, fortunatly. Yo, one time i threw my tv remote against my dresser and sampled that. Made a hot snare outta it. for real. Once my keyboard started bugging the flowers out, like making wierd noises all by it self (dont know what the flowers happened), and i sampled that glitch noise. Sample animal sounds! sample nature sounds! sample yourself makin dumbas$ noises into the mic! I got a crazy cheap, broke-as$ guitar, its missing stringz on it and all, its outta tune like a muhfucca, but i sample that. And i cant play the guitar at all. But i can freak the sample once its in my mp.

I've been sampling some ill $h!t from a circuit bent Speak and Spell (Math, Read), letters, phrases, and glitches.
Also some synth and drum sounds from an old Gameboy program called "Nanoloop". I also have a MD (mini disc) recorder that I get alot of ambience and sfx with.
There are endless sources out there, it depends on what your doing.

Here's a link to some cool Circuit bent stuff.

Video games. No doubt.
Throw a shoe or 2 and/or a empty pop (soda) can in a dryer and turn it on, mic it and edit it.
You get some bugged out beats.
