can anyone help me i got a midi controller when i connect with my mpc2500 it only plays the sounds on the mp but i want the sounds on the keyboard does anyone know how to get em working ?

midi comntroller don't have any sounds, they just trigger them from whatever you connected it. in your case the ones in the mp

Gotta get yourself a sound module like a motif es, or phantom rack. Then u can play those sounds via the midi keyboard.

Midi is not audio. Midi controller has no sound.

Only when you get frustrated with it and slam it to the floor does it make a sound.

How do you get your controller to trigger the sounds on your MPC2500? When I try it, nothing happens. :(

as long as it's hooked up properly, you shouldn't have to do anything. just make sure the key you're hitting corresponds with the correct pad you're trying to trigger.
