No one can help u unless u tell them how its looping..

coz we dont know how u expected it to loop compared to how its looping now..

Is it looping in reverse? is it starting too early.. finishing too early? finishing too late? out of sync? all of these together?

Also, different samples need different attention.

There's no one solution for them all.

Throw the loop to someone and maybe they can listen to it and wave edit it and help you out.

i think i may need to chop my samples, how is this done on the mpc500 as it duznt have tha same function as the 1000 where u can chop it in2 segments.
well basically for example when i start my performance i.e play a phase sample its either to long for the usual 2 bar sequence or when i change it to fit it all in say to 5bar sequence it has gaps at the end ...

u can help me out ..i promise i wont be so much of a pain in the ass !!!,,

yea man like complex said, if you recorded a sample which I dont see how or why you would record something thats in 5 bars...theres gotta be a bar in there thats needs to be trimmed off and then once you set the mpc to 4 bars and get your sample to the same and make sure your bpm is on point and the sh!t should loop perfect....

if for some reason you sampled 5 bars and are trying to loop it into 2 or 4 bars thats why its not looping proper... your only option is going to be to chop the hell out of your 5 bars and replay it to fit a 2 or 4 bar sequence....

alot of options man, no one can tell you an exact answer because every sample may need something different or need to be flipped a different way....best thing to do is like you said...eat, sleep, and sh!t with the damn thing and have no limitations...if it sounds good your doing something right....untill then...

keep eating, keep sleeping, and keep sh!tting! cheers!

You know that you can make your sample play faster or slower, do you? You know that you can make your sequence run faster or slower, do you? You know that you could timestretch your sample if absolutely necessary, do you?
