i just found a bug in bit convert...

bit convert bug in 4.72

load a sample longer than 2 seconds long
enter trim mode
hit edit
choose bit convert
lower sample bit value
hit f2 (play) or any of the top row of pads (pads 13-16)
original file in memory has been overwritten
raising sample bit value does nothing
hit cancel and still the original sample has been overwritten in memory

yep, here too. plus it only overwrites one channel (i think the right one) if you use a stereo sample.
