Hooking up a car subwoofer to my computer inside my house

Anyone know how to do this? then that way I can really bang some beats with my mpc lol.. Yah I gotta old mtx box its 2 12's I havent tried it yet but im going to because I have no other use for it and it's just sittin there in my garage.

you should connect it to a good amplifier and turn down the treble to its minimum and the Bass to its max...

its not really super practical... but very possible... youll probably need to use a car audio amp to power em. most home amps arent rated to a low enough impedance/ohm depending on how you have your subs bridged and what they need. but you can check the specs. also most home amps dont have high enough wattage to push big car subs. beware the most common way you can hurt your subs is to underpower them. if you use the car amp then the only problem is to find a 12v power supply. the opposite of a standard dc>ac power inverter (and it will be loud with fans). or a car battery (deepcycle optimas are the best has a lifetime warranty) but will still need lotsa recharges. but youd just run the audio l+r into the car amp mono it, set lowpass on the amp n crank it.
