1. go into the "track" mode on the mpc.. press "params" and set your midi channel.. for exmpl. (midi channel) "1" ...
2. if you want use your mpc as a controler :
create a synthiesizer or a NN-XT Advanced Sampler or what ever, load a patch or a sample
now at the top on the left side you see "midi in device"
select the synthie or the sampler or what ever in the "channel 1"
if you wanna use something other in reason just select a new track on your mpc and set channel 2 and the same thing in reason...
3. if you wanna sync the mpc with reason:
press MODE+PAD 7 (midi / sync) on your mpc and set the mpc as "master"
open reason and go to "Options > Midi clock sync"
..now.. if you press the play button on your mpc reason starts playing
