yo how can i make a 2 bar or 4 bars drum beat into about 16 bars. most of the time i do 4 bars sequence and add the sample but when i go to do the other sequence i forget the drum pattern.

first off, Read The Friendly Manual!!

there is like 5 ways to do it, but here's one



go to song mode, if it's a four bar loop, program the MPC to play the beat 4 times (4 X 4 = 16) then convert the song into a new sequence.


Realistically though you shouldn't be doing a 16 bar sequence with a repetative 2 bar loop (unless its techno music or something) you should really mix it up with variations of a similar beat.

You can also got to sequence mode and choose "copy bars"
