Could JJ incorporate a cursor into the graphical waveform ed

I don't think there is an option for this , so maybe JJ could incorporate it. When you play a sample perhaps the first row of pixels atop the sample in the waveform box there would be a FIXed dot asigned to a position marker that would travel along the sample, which would help u gauge points for chopping etc?

For example in soundforge nuendo pt etc there is always a cursor
something that looks like

if we could have an equivalent in JJ that would be nice, maybe we do i don't know how to activate it?

i'd love this. it's technically already there in Grid Audio Edit (same idea, different place). i'd love to see it in trim, been a forgotten feature request of mine for months

Man I was just tryin to edit a long loop last night and i kept getting lost in it.This feature would be awsome.

Also i had a quick question if anyone knows i have my satellite (dishnetwork) L&R outs to mpc Digital In, in and i can record standard definition channel audio cause Im thinking it is 16bit, but When i put on a HiDef channel like discovery and try to record the audio i get solid static feedback Im thinking cause it might be 24bit?
Anyways i don't think this would be possible but is there anyway to make the 2500 record 24bit or does that involove a new sequencer engine?

yea the way i see it is that the Trim feature needs to be like like sound forge's as much as possible.
