is there a way for the mpc to save acutal sound data/settings from the external midi device so i dont have to always write external sounds down, so i dont always have to reassign sounds on keyboard. thanks in advance...

i know how to record midi data i dont think you understood my question. basicly when i load a beat up it remebers the midi instruction but i still have to assign the sounds manually to the keyboard tracks what i'm asking is there a way the mpc will automaticlly assign the keyboard tracks

Learn about what files your mpc saves and learn about WHAT is exactly saved when you save them.

Part of your answer is in those files and what's contained in them when you save them.

Learn what midi program changes are and how to use them on your mpc.
