I found the same problem. It goes like this:
Lay down a track with some instruments.
Create a new track to record the panning. JJ OS won't record the panning.
Do it in Akai OS. It works. Save the project file, load in JJ OS. JJ OS won't play back the panning, though Akai OS will.
One way I have found it to work in JJ OS is to record the panning on the same track as the recorded sound.
I've submitted a bug for this with an example project file demonstrating the problem. Hopefully it will be resolved in a future release.

the jj os doesnt record automation volume or panning.. from what i was told u have to record it coming in that way..
