Questions about my 4000, just got it today

Hello all My mpc 4000 just arrived in the mail today and ive been playing with it all day. I just have a few questions, Its an LE model so ill need to buy my own HD, CDRW and more Ram.

What is the largest capacity hard drive the 4000 can accept, can i install an DVD-RW internally where the CD-RW slot is, Thanks

i know up to 60gigs works flawless and i ve heard dudes use all the way up to 120gigs and i dont think it will take a dvd rw but ask akai but i dont think so.....and also welcome to the fam

try to find the HD compatibility list beforehand

I installed an old 128mb stick of ram i had lying around inside my moms old computer and also installed the 6GB hard drive from that computer also, everything is working fine.

This thing is so involved, so far ive learned how to sample trim, loop & edit. Im still alil confused about some of the termenolgy like programs, zones, and things, but im reading the book constantly and I'll be asking more questions so thanks!
