MPC and Computer

what is the best labtop to go along with an MPC 500? One with a good amount of space and my MPC 500 can hook up to it. PR($100-$600)

Also, if I have Fruity Loops on my computer, would i be able to transfer beats/samples between my computer and MPC 500?

How do u have fruity loops... then in another thred about ur mpc u ask how to make a loop and what a loop is????

The best way to transfer files would be by a MPC digital midi telephone jack to your Computers USB connection. This will get you quick results and find out the answer to all your problems. Let us know how its works out.

no they are all DEFINETLY serious, I have a demo of Fruity Loops and im trying to learn how to use it and how it works and what it would do before i bought the program. I just found out that a loop is, a sound that repeats continuously, isn't it? sorry if i ask a lot of questions, but this is the only place that I have to get answers and NOBODY around my place even knows what an MPC is.

yea your right on the loop part.

now a good thing for you to do is to read the manual. and learn. everything you need is in there and its very helpful. if u dont have the manual u can download it here

i finally got something right! lol
i'll start reading the manual everytime free chance i get. although, i've had a sort-of-a-hard time understanding how to do certain things, and/or i've just had to skip some. i wish their was an online tutorial or something similiar, that would make it A WHOLE LOT easier! well, anywayz thanks!
